Guess….

Guess why this canora staff is doing a happy dance

Meet Maryam Yusuf, a Support Worker who joined the staff at Canora in September. This snowfall is particularly exciting for her – and everyone around her – because she is from Nigeria and this is her first experience with winter and snow. Well, Maryam, Edmonton, Alberta, is definitely a place to learn about snow! Enjoy, and thanks for reminding us that this can be a special season.

Check out Maryam’s full dance to refresh your winter enthusiasm.

Guess which elves were behind these christmas treasures…

This is a table of gifts that the CAT team organized and wrapped for the annual CAT Christmas party. The party has been an annual event since 2012! This year about 35 people attend, including program participants and their children/partners/family members. This was even more of a family event than usual with two participants bringing their moms. Bravo to the CAT staff and members of the Peer Support Group who cooked and served a full turkey dinner with all the trimmings. To add to the fun and festivities there were door prizes and this year an Oilers Jersey was donated and was a BIG hit!

Guess who’s coming to dinner at george’s house…

Compassion at George’s House doesn’t only include the residents – it carries right over into furry friends who come to visit. This is the neighborhood cat stopping by to give Michelle, the Program Manager, another opportunity to feed it.
